Error 350: No action was taken as reboot is required | Access issue, either with user access's or antivirus software |
Error strong1053/strong: The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion | Your Sage Services haven't stopped properly, or there's Microsoft .NET issues. |
Error 1101: Could not allocate a new page for database because of insufficient disk space in primary filegroup | An issue with the registration of MSIEXEC. |
Error 1304: Error writing to Verify that you have access to that directory | An issue with permissions. |
Error 1308: Source file not found | This issue is normally resolved by downloading and reinstalling the software. |
Error 1324: The folder path contains an invalid character | An invalid character in a Windows registry file. |
Error 1325: is not a valid short filename | You don't have the correct Windows user permissions. |
Error 1327: Invalid Drive: (drive letter) | A missing drive letter. |
Error 1334: The file cannot be installed because the file cannot be found in the cabinet file | This happens when installing Sage 50 Accounts, after uninstalling Sage 50 Accounts Essentials on the same computer. |
Error: 1402: Could not open Key | A registry problem with Windows. |
Error 1406: Could not write InstanceIndex to key | You don't have the correct Windows user permissions to access the areas affected by the installation. |
Error 1601: 'Data Access Components Error 1601 ERROR_INSTALL_SERVICE_FAILURE' | To resolve this, install the Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 redistribution package, then install Sage 50 Account directly from the installation files. |
Error 1603: Fatal error during installation |

Error 1603 and 1921: Installation not complete | Error when installing v27.1 or above. |
Error 1606: Could not access network location | You don't have the correct Windows user permissions to access the areas affected by the installation. |
Error 1608: Unable to create InstallDriver instance | Either Windows user permissions or an issue with the Windows registry. |
Error 1609: An error has occurred while applying security settings. Users is not a valid user or group. | The group called Users is missing in Windows. The most common reason for this is if you're using a non-English language version of Windows. |
Error 1618: Another Installation Already in Progress | The Windows Installer thinks another installation is in progress. |
Error 1625: Installation forbidden by system policy | This is a Windows error relating to system access. Install the software as an Administrator to avoid this. |
Error 1628: Failed to complete script based install or Failed to complete installation | The Windows Installer thinks another installation is in progress. |
Error 1638: Another version of this program is already installed | The Windows Installer thinks another installation is in progress. |
Error 1722: There is a problem with this windows installer package |

Error 1919: Error configuring ODBC data source | Software hasn't configured ODBC correctly. |
Error 1920: Service Sage AutoUpdate Manager Service failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services | You've installed on an unsupported operating system. |
Error 1921: Service Sage SData Service could not be stopped. Verify you have sufficient privileges to stop system services | You've installed on an unsupported operating system. |
Error 1923: Sage Data Service could not start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges. |
