ERROR: 'Error 1101: Could not allocate a new page for database ...'
Description

When installing your Sage software, the following message can appear:

'Error 1101: Could not allocate a new page for database because of insufficient disk space in primary filegroup'.

This is due to an issue with the registration of MSIEXEC.

Cause
Resolution

Register the MSIEXEC file

  1. Press the Windows key + R, enter CMD then click OK.
  2. Type MSIEXEC /UNREGISTER then press Enter.
  3. Type MSIEXEC /REGSERVER then press Enter.
  4. Try installing the software again.
