Installation - 'Error: 1402: Could not open Key'
Description

When installing your Sage software, the following message may appear:

'Error: 1402: Could not open Key'

This is due to a problem in the Windows registry.

Cause
Resolution
  1. Press the Windows key + R, enter CMD then click OK.
  2. Type SFC /SCANNOW then press Enter.
  3. Log into Windows as a different user with full administrator access.
  4. Try the installation again.
