Check system specs Ensure your computer meets the system requirements for your software, especially that your processor isn't ARM-based, as this isn't compatible. For help with checking this, click the relevant link below: Temp folder permissions The error can occur if you don't have the required access permissions to the Temp folder. To rectify this: - Open Windows Explorer by holding down the Windows key
and press E. - Enter C:\Users and press Enter.
- Double-click the username you are logged into Windows with.
- Double-click the AppData folder.
- Double-click to open the Local folder.
- Locate the Temp folder, then right-click and select Properties.
- In the properties window, click the Security tab.
- Click Edit to modify your user permissions.
- Ensure your username is selected, and tick all boxes in the Allow column.
- Click OK then OK again to close the properties window.
If you're still not able to install the software after completing the above steps, continue to the section below. Reregister MSIEXEC - Press and hold down the Windows key
and press R. - Type CMD then click OK.
- Type MSIEXEC/UNREGISTER then press Enter.
- Type MSIEXEC/REGSERVER then press Enter.
- Type Exit and press Enter.
- Install the software again.
