When installing your Sage software, the following message can appear:

'Error 1608: Unable to create InstallDriver instance'.

This occurs if:

• You don't have the correct Windows user permissions to install Sage
• There's an issue with the Windows registry

To resolve this, check if you're a Windows administrator.

If the issue persists, check your system using the Windows System File Checker utility:

1. Press the Windows key + R, enter CMD then click OK.
2. Type sfc /scannow and press Enter.
