Error: '1334: The file [filename] cannot be installed because the file cannot...'
Description

When installing your Sage software, the following message may appear:

'Error 1334: The file [filename] cannot be installed because the file cannot be found in the cabinet file [filename]'

Cause
Resolution

To resolve this issue, you need to clear your temporary files and reinstall the software.

Clear your temporary files

  1. Hold down the Windows key  and press R then type %temp% and click OK.
  2. Hold down Ctrl and press A then press Delete and click Yes.

Reinstall your software

Reinstall your software including the latest updates from the Downloads area of the My Sage website
