When trying to install Sage 50 Accounts, you can see the following error:

'Error 1638. Another version of this program is already installed'.

This error appears if:

• You're installing the same version of Sage 50 Accounts that's already installed on your computer
• You use an ARM-based device, as they aren't supported

To resolve this, you need to remove an installation.

 TIP: If there's no installation to remove, as a workaround you can install Sage 50 Accounts directly from the installation files.
