 NOTE: Sage Copilot isn't available in Sage 50 Accounts Essentials. If you're interested in upgrading, leave your details and we'll be in touch. 

 NOTE: Users receive Copilot access individually, and Copilot accesses only the same data as the user can. 

1. Download and install the latest version of Sage 50 Accounts, if you haven't already. 
2. Select the Copilot insights button, anywhere you see it in your software.
3. Select Start enabling Sage Copilot.
   
    NOTE: This screen will look different if you have already connected your Sage account to your company data, or only have one Sage user. Just follow the steps on your screen to continue. 
4. Follow the prompts to connect your company to your Sage account, if required. 
5.  If you have multiple Sage users, you're prompted to enter their name and email address.
    TIP: If you have read-only users, or others that won't log in to the software, selecting Clear from list removes them from this window. 
6. After entering all user details, select Continue.
7. On the grant Copilot access screen, select which user will have access to Copilot using the radio button on the right:
   
    NOTE: This grants access to the first Copilot user, if you have multiple Copilot users on your licence, you can add access for them later. 
8. Select Continue to confirm.
9. Click Finish to finalise the setup. 
10. Select Close to continue. If you've granted Copilot access to yourself, it'll open for you. 

 NOTE: After enabling Copilot, all users will now sign in to Sage 50 Accounts using their Sage account, even users who don't use Copilot.

Grant other users Copilot access after set up

 NOTE: You must have more than 1 Copilot user on your licence to be able to grant other users access. 

1. Click Settings.
2. Hover over User Management and then click Users.
3. Select the user in the list, then click Edit.
4. Click the Sage Copilot link:
   
5. Tick the Allow Sage Copilot Access box.
6. Click Save.
7. Repeat this process to add Copilot access for all applicable users.
8. Click Close. 

Invited user

1. The invited user receives an email granting them access to Copilot. They need to follow the steps on the email to complete their access.
2. When they next log in to Sage 50 Accounts or clicks Copilot insights, they'll see a prompt to sign in using their Sage account.
