Use everyday language to ask Sage Copilot to generate you a transaction report by describing the information you need.

Set up Copilot

Before you start, you'll need to activate Sage Copilot if you haven't already.

Request your report

1. Go to the relevant module, for example Nominal codes, then select Reports.
2. Select Sage Copilot at the top of the window. 

The Welcome to Report with Copilot window will open. 

3. You can now type in your report query in the Enter message box, then click Send.

Copilot will ask any questions to gather further information needed.

4. Type your answers to the questions in the Enter message box, then click Send.

Summary of your request

1. Copilot will confirm your requirements and ask you to type confirm if you're happy to proceed. If not, type change then list the changes to make.
2. Once you've clicked Confirm, enter a report name into the box, then click Submit.

Once your report is available, you'll see the Your report is ready window. This show the location of your report and you can either:

• Preview report - displays the report 
• Edit report - opens the report in Sage Report Designer so that you can edit it
• Start again - takes you to the Welcome to Report with Copilot window to enter your details again
