We'll explain how to set up 2FA using text messages, where an automated system will text you your login codes.

 NOTE: It's quicker and easier to use a mobile app, see our Set up 2-factor authentication with an app article for more information.

 NOTE: Phone call and text message verification methods have a limit of 5 codes per hour. Authenticator apps don't have this restriction. 

1. Select Set up with a text or phone call at the bottom of the QR code page.
   
   
2. Select Phone (Text message or phone call).
   
3. Choose the country code, enter your phone number, select Text message, then select Continue. 
   
4. You'll then receive a text message with your 6-digit code.
5. Enter the code and select Continue.
   
6. Make a note of your 24-digit recovery code and store it in a safe location.
    NOTE: If your 2FA method is ever unavailable, you need this code to access your account.
   
7. Select the I have saved my recovery code check box, then Continue.
8. Setup is now complete. You can now log in to your account.
