Phishing attempts and weak passwords can put your data at risk. 2FA adds a layer of authorisation when users log in to prevent third parties accessing data, even if you accidentally share a username or password. Data breaches leak hundreds of millions of email addresses and passwords all over the world each year. Although a breach hasn't impacted Sage, we're mandating 2FA across all of our websites and connected services over the coming months. This is to help our customers and their employees keep their accounts secure. Using 2FA also fits in with the UK government's Cyber Essentials scheme.
