The Product record

Description

Access a product record

Click Products and services, then either double click a product record, or select a product record and click Edit.

If you haven't created any product records, click New.

Information the product record holds

The fields on the product record are grouped into different tabs as detailed below. To find out more about the fields in a particular tab, click the relevant Read more link.

Details tab	Shows product record details such as product code, name and balance, defaults, stock status, prices etc.	Read more >
Bill of materials tab	If a product consists of a number of other products then it has a Bill of Materials (BOM).	Read more >
Discount tab	Apply a quantity discount for your products.	Read more >
Web tab	The Web tab in a product record can store information that you use to create your web shop.	Read more >
Alerts tab	Create a custom alert for a product.	Read more >
Memo tab	Here you can enter miscellaneous information and attach documents and references to the record.	Read more >
Activity tab	Quickly view the activity of your product records and a summary of details for each stock movement.	Read more >
Sales tab	Shows the sales information for the product record.	Read more >
Graph tab	Provides a graphical representation of the Actuals, Budgets and Prior Year stock figures.	Read more >
