| Description | The Sales tab in a product record shows all the sales information for the product.  NOTE: This feature is only available in Sage 50 Accounts Professional. Not using Professional? Fill in this form and we'll be in touch with more information about upgrading.

| Resolution | The Product Record Sales tabSales Value| Sales Cost | This is the cost price of the products which have been sold in the relevant month. It calculates this value using the first in first out rule. These values can be over typed, if required. |

| Actuals | Each time you update an invoice or despatch a sales order, the Actuals figure for the relevant month automatically updates with the sales value. These values can be over typed, if required. |

| Budgets | You can enter monthly sales budgets against a product. You can specify individual monthly budgets by entering the values directly into each month's box. If you wish to specify a yearly budget you can enter the full amount in the Totals box and then press tab. Sage Accounts automatically divides the yearly figure by 12 and enters the resulting values into each month's budget box.
These budget values automatically update from the actual or budget figures from the previous financial year when the Year End option is run. |
