This issue can occur when you open Sage 50 Accounts v30.0 or below. The Sage 50 Accounts Data Service stops, which means the software won't open.
We have now resolved this issue in v30.1 and above of Sage 50 Accounts.
Upgrade now if you aren't using the latest version.
If you're unable to upgrade, follow the workaround below.
Confirm if you're using a 32-bit or 64-bit version of Sage 50 Accounts.
Complete the following steps on the computer or server, which holds your accounts data.
Once you know your version:
CAUTION: This includes all versions currently installed on the computer. For more information, use our article stop and restart the Sage data services.
TIP: These steps are only mandatory on the computer that holds your data, however you can complete these steps on other computers if desired.
If the issue persists, follow the steps in the delete the Queue.dta file section.
Delete this on all computers with Sage 50 Accounts installed.
NOTE: You'll need to stop the Sage Accounts services before you delete the Queue.dta file.
