Locate the computer name when using a mapped drive
- Hold down the Windows Key and R.
- Type CMD and press Enter.
- In the CMD window, type net use, then press Enter.
You'll see a list of all mapped drives.
The UNC path appears in the Remote column and the name of the computer is the first part of the path. For example, \\fileserver\support\Sage 50 Accounts.
Check your computer name
- On your computer, go to the Search option and type Settings.
- In the Settings window, go to System then select About.
- You'll see your computer name in the Device specifications section, under Device name.
Check the path in Windows
A notepad window opens, showing the path to your accounts data. If you've more than one company, the paths show on separate lines.
