Before you start
Make sure everyone's logged out of Sage 50 Accounts, including all Remote Data Access (RDA) users.
1. Find the path to the company data folder
- Access the computer that holds your data. If you aren't sure, check Where is my data kept?
- Open Sage 50 Accounts, then in the Company Selection window, select the required company.
- Click the three dots to the left of the company name , then click Folder location.
In Sage 50 Accounts v26 - in the Select Company window, click Open Folder Location. - Make a note of this folder location as you'll need it later.
2. Stop the Sage Accounts data service
- Access the computer that holds your data.
- Stop the Data Service on that computer.
If the problem persists, and you use RDA, you can remove it, repeat the steps above, then set up RDA again.
