How do I create employee profiles in Sage HR Online Services?

In this case we recommend to add the employee by uploading a payslip from Sage 50 Payroll to Sage HR Online Services.

This automatically creates the employee profile in Sage HR Online Services and be linked with their employee record in Sage 50 Payroll straight away.

If the employee doesn't have a record in Sage 50 Payroll it is then up to whether you would prefer to add them Sage 50 Payroll first or in Sage HR Online Services first.

I want to add them in Sage 50 Payroll 

1. Add the employee in Sage 50 Payroll.
2. Enable the employee for Online Services.

Once the employee has been created in Sage 50 Payroll, you can add the employee into Sage HR Online Services by uploading their next payslip.

You can add an employee manually in Sage HR Online Services. This is recommended to do if the employee is not on the payroll yet, and therefore doesn't have an employee record in Sage 50 Payroll.

When you add them you'll have the option to send across their information to Sage 50 Payroll to automatically create their employee record in there too.

Then when you upload their first payslip to Sage HR Online Services, their profile there will automatically link with their profile in Sage 50 Payroll.

NOTE: If the employee you want to add doesn't need to be in Sage 50 Payroll, you can add them directly in Sage HR Online Services, then when you're done mark in their profile that they don't need to be in Sage 50 Payroll. This removes any error message regarding not being able to find them in Sage 50 Payroll.
