The message that appears varies if you're at the main or the remote site. In either situation, the resolution is the same.
Resolution
To resolve this, you need to check whether the main site or the remote site has the most up-to-date data. You can then disconnect your company from Remote Data Access and then reconnect your data.
NOTE: Whenever you have been working offline, before you reconnect to Remote Data Access, ensure you take a backup of your data.
Restart the Sage services
- Close Sage 50 Accounts.
- Stop and restart the Sage Services.
- Reopen Sage 50 Accounts.
- Check if you can now access the company data.
If the issue persists, run through the additional checks below.
Check which site has up-to-date data
Check the latest activity at each site to ensure you're using the latest data before reconnecting to Remote Data Access. Decide which dataset to continue working on, remove your company from Remote Data Access, and restore the backup before reconnecting.
