Create a manual backup - Open the required company, click File, then click Back up.
- Note the suggested Filename or edit the name as required.
- Click Browse, choose a location to save the file to, click OK.
- To back up other files, like reports and layouts, select them in the list or choose Select all file types to include in backup.
We recommend daily data backups, but you can back up layouts and reports less frequently.
- Click OK, then if prompted to check your data, click Yes, then click Close.
- Click OK.
You've now successfully backed up your company's data. This means you can restore your data back to this point at any time if you need to. Backup location When you select a backup location, the software remembers it. To locate a backup to restore, browse the path shown in your back up window. NOTE: The default backup location is C:\SageBackups\vxx.
