Disconnect From Remote Data Access

When you no longer need to access a company remotely from a specific computer, select Disconnect from Remote Data Access.

When to do this?

  • Disconnect a computer from a company you don't want to access through RDA
  • If you need to re-sync the RDA connection
  • Remove RDA for a company at the main site so it's no longer shared with remote users

Remove From Remote Data Access

When you no longer want to use RDA for that company, and don't want any computers to access the company data remotely.

When to do this?

  • You no longer want any users to access the company remotely
  • Want to set up a different computer to be the main site on RDA
  • If you're experiencing issues with RDA, and need to set it up again

Remove and Disconnect Remote Data Access options under company name.


In Sage 50 Accounts v27 you have a main site and remote sites. In v28 and above, all sites are equal.
