Multi-company tasks

Before you use multi-company tasks

• Back up your data of each payroll company
• Ensure the user name logged into Sage 50 Payroll exists and has sufficient access rights to access all required employees in each company. Use our Set up and maintain your users guide to check
• Check that no other users are logged into Sage 50 Payroll
• If you've recently installed an upgrade, check that all companies have been opened and the data upgraded
• Ensure you've processed payments in each required company
• Check the same password is set up for the companies you want to use multi-company tasks for. Any companies that have a different password won't show in the multi-company tasks window

• Quickly Print payslips
• Update records to close the tax period
• Clear the P46(Car) flags from employees
• Run reports from the pre-update and post-update reports areas

Holidays

• Manage qualifying day patterns
• Set employees on holiday
• Clear brought forward holiday values
• Recalculate
