- Open Sage 50 Accounts and log in as MANAGER.
- Go to Settings then select User Management then Users.
- Select the required user and click Edit.
- Click the User Profile tab on the left.
- Select Log in to Sage 50 Accounts.
- Enter the user's Sage account email address, first and last name.
- Click the Remote Data Access on the left.
- Select the Allow Remote Data Access checkbox and click Continue.
The software completes the details on this window from the User profile window.
▼ Don't see Allow Remote Data Access checkbox If you're using v32.1 or above with Sage Copilot enabled, the user automatically has access to RDA.
- Instead, click the Send Welcome email button
This emails the user to advise them that they have access to 50 Accounts.
- Click Finish then Save.
- Click Close on the Users window.
- If prompted, log in to your Sage account and enter the verification code.
Next steps - contact your user
Now you've granted your user access to your data remotely, they'll receive an email invitation to access the company.
What they'll need:
- Your Sage 50 Accounts version number - They must install this version to access the data
TIP: You can find this in Help then About in your software. - Sage account - The user needs a Sage account using the email address in step 8 above
- The passphrase for your data - this is the password used when you originally uploaded the data
- The username and password you set up for them to access Sage 50 Accounts
