Sage Copilot Debt management - Disable or disconnect automated reminders
Description

In the Automated Payment Reminders window, you can manage schedule settings and turn off automated reminders.

You can disable an automatic reminder schedule only or you can disconnect the automated payment feature completely.

 NOTE: Automated Payment Reminders is only available in Sage 50 Accounts Professional. If you're interested in upgrading, leave your details and we'll be in touch.

Disable automated reminders

This stops the automated schedule you have set up in Schedule settings.

  1. Go to Customers and select Copilot insights.
  2. On the Copilot window, select Create payment reminders in the Debt summary section.
  3. On the Debt management with Sage Copilot window, select Manage automated reminders.
  4. Click Settings then Schedule settings on the Debt management with Sage Copilot window.
  5. On the Schedule settings window, click Disable automated reminders, then click OK.

A banner will appear on the Automated Payment Reminders window to advise you that you've disabled the reminders.

 


Disconnect automated payment reminders

 NOTE: You can also disconnect when you Disconnect your Sage account as this removes Sage Copilot. 

This disconnects the automated payment reminder feature in full, including the email settings and chosen layouts.

  1. Go to Customers and select Copilot insights.
  2. On the Copilot window, select Create payment reminders in the Debt summary section.
  3. On the Debt management with Sage Copilot window, select Manage automated reminders.
  4. Select Settings then Schedule settings on the Automated Payment Reminders window.
  5. On the Schedule settings window, click Disconnect, then click Yes on the Disconnect message.

When you next open the Manage automated reminders window, you 'll need to set up the feature again.
