Sage software has the flexibility to integrate with Microsoft Office several ways, such as emailing documents, sending data to Excel and Excel Integrated Reporting (EIR).

To use these great features, you must use a compatible version of Microsoft Office that's installed locally on the same computer as your Sage software.

NOTE: EIR is only compatible with 32-bit Microsoft Office. You can only use integrated Microsoft 365 features with Sage 50 Accounts. Read more >

Check if your versions are compatible

• To check your Sage 50 version number, within your software - on the menu bar click Help, then click About.
• To find out the version of Office you're using, read Microsoft's help guide > 

 IMPORTANT: If you use the 'new look' Outlook, revert back to the classic style. The new look version isn't compatible with Sage 50 software.
