If you're using Sage 50 Accounts with 64-bit Microsoft Office and need to connect to Excel via ODBC, install the 64-bit ODBC driver. You can also download 32-bit installers. NOTE: MS Excel 2016 64-bit doesn't support Excel Integrated Reporting.

Resolution | Download the 64-bit ODBC Installer - Restart your computer and log on as an administrator.
- Double-click the relevant download link:
- Browse to the location to save the download, for example your Windows desktop, then click Save.
- Click Save link as or Save target as, then make a note of the file name.
- Locate the downloaded file.
- Sage 50 Accounts v28 and above - Right-click Sage50Accounts_vxx_64BitODBC.zip, click Extract All, click Extract, then double-click 64Bit.
- Double-click the Sage50Accounts_ODBC_x64.msi file.
- If a Security Warning window appears, to proceed with the installation, click Run.
- Select the I accept the terms in the License Agreement check box, then click Install.
- Click Finish, then restart your computer.
Download the 32-bit ODBC Installer - Restart your computer and log on as an administrator.
- Right-click the relevant download link:
- Browse to the location to save the download, for example your Windows desktop, then click Save.
- Click Save link as or Save target as, then make a note of the file name.
- Locate the downloaded file.
- Sage 50 Accounts v28 and above - Right-click Sage50Accountsvxx_32BitODBC.zip, click Extract All, click Extract, then double-click 32Bit.
- Double-click the Sage50Accounts_ODBC_x86.msi file.
- If a Security Warning window appears, to proceed with the installation, click Run.
- Select the I accept the terms in the License Agreement check box, then click Install.
- Click Finish, then restart your computer.
