If you need to change your SMTP settings, edit them within the report you need to email:
- Go to Reports or Pre-update reports as required for the report in question.
- Right-click on the report then select Edit.
- In Sage Report Designer, select Tools then Options.
- Go to the Email Setup tab.
- Under Available Providers section, select Internet Mail (SMTP).
- Select the Configure button.
- Select Custom, then Next.
- Follow the wizard to enter your settings.
- When you complete the wizard, select OK.
- Select File then Save All.
Settings for common providers
If you use SMTP to send emails from your software and your provider ends support for basic authentication, you need to change your settings. To continue emailing documents from your software, use Microsoft Outlook.
