You can't export all of your payroll data at once, nor can you take a backup. Run and save individual reports to extract the required information. Below is a list of all the reports you can export from Payroll with links on how to export each of them. Most of the reports run on a per-pay-period basis.  NOTE: Except for The detailed pay run and Pension contribution report, you can only export these reports in a PDF file type.
