| | How to change the email address for the manager login |
| Description | When setting up RDA you must assign an email address to the manager user name. To change this email address you must remove RDA, disconnect any other connected services, and disconnect the company from the Sage account. | Resolution | Select the Sage 50 Accounts version you're using: ▼ v27 to v30.0 Remove Remote Data Access - Open Sage 50 Accounts.
- On the Company Selection window, click the ellipsis (three dots) to the left of the company name to disconnect.

- Click Remove Remote Data Access, enter your logon name and password, then click OK. This removes RDA for every site that connects to this company.
- Click Yes then click OK.
NOTE: Any remote sites currently accessing your data will receive an 'Access revoked' message and must also follow steps 1 to 4 above to disconnect. Disconnect bank feeds If you use bank feeds, you must disconnect this before updating the Manager email address. Disconnect the company from the Sage account - Log into Sage 50 Accounts as manager or as an administrator, click Settings then click Connected Services Settings.
If a message appears advising you're using Bank Feeds, switch off Bank Feeds then repeat step 1.
- To disconnect the company, click Disconnect then click OK.
Connect to the new email address - Connect the company to your new manager email address.
- Set up Remote Data Access.
- Reconnect any other connected services, if required.
