NOTE: These options are only available in Sage 50 Accounts v27 and above. Remove Remote Data Access - Open Sage 50 Accounts.
- On the Company Selection window, click the ellipsis (3 dots) to the left of the company name you want to disconnect.
- Click Remove Remote Data Access, enter your logon name and password then click OK.
- Click Yes then click OK.
NOTE: Any remote sites currently accessing your data will receive an 'Access revoked' message and must also follow steps 1 to 4 above to disconnect. Switch off Bank Feeds In v28.1 and below: - Log into your company on Sage 50 Accounts.
- On the navigation bar click Bank accounts then double-click the required bank account.
- Under Sage Bank Feeds, click Disable Sage Bank Feeds then click Yes.
- Click Save then click Close.
In v29 and above: - Click Bank feeds.
- Locate the account you want to disconnect, and click the Settings icon .
- Click Disconnect Bank feeds.
- Click Yes.
Switch off Invoice Payments If you use Invoice Payments, you'll need to switch this off before disconnecting your Sage account (Sage ID). Disconnect your company from Microsoft 365 If you have Sage 50 Accounts connected to Microsoft Office 365, you'll need to disconnect this. Disconnect the company from Sage account If you've already set up the connection between your Sage account and your Sage 50 Accounts software, you can follow these steps if you need to disconnect it. - Log into your company on Sage 50 Accounts as MANAGER or as an administrator user, click Settings then click Connected Services Settings.
- If a message appears advising you are using one or more of the connected services, click Close, follow the sections below to remove Remote Data Access and switch off Bank Feeds, then repeat step 1.
NOTE: If you're using Invoice Payments, you don't have to manually disconnect this. It is done automatically when you disconnect the company from Sage account. - To disconnect the company, click Disconnect then click OK.
