Pensions Data Exchange - The basics
Description

PDX is currently available with NEST, The People's Pension and Smart.

It's a feature of the Pensions Module that lets you connect your Sage 50 Payroll software directly to your online pension account.

This lets you send your pension information quickly and safely, without having to log in to the pension website and upload your pension files manually.

You can also receive updates about your pension scheme directly to your software, such as opt-out requests.

Preparation

Before you start using PDX, there are a few preparation tasks. This includes checking that you have your pension provider log in details.

Set up PDX

Once you have your pension account log in details, there are a few tasks you need to carry out as a one-time setup process.

NOTE:

If you'd like a Sage expert to help you set up PDX and demo how to use it, consider a bespoke training session.

Select the option below for your provider to access the steps to set PDX up.

Import Pension Updates

Once you've set up PDX, you can check and import updates from your pension provider.

Send Pension Data

Each time you process your payroll and pension contributions, you can send your pension data directly to your provider.

Other pension providers

If PDX isn't available for your pension provider, we have several report templates available for Pensions Module subscribers.

These reports let you export your data into a file, ready to upload to your pension provider.

To check your subscription and view the providers we cover, use the Pension Checker tool.

To find out more, visit the send pension data to your pension provider using a CSV report article.

Subscribe to the Pensions Module
