As Pensions Data Exchange connects to your pension provider account, you need the details you use to log in to your pension online account.
You need to enter these details as part of the set up process. If you're not sure of your log in details you must speak to your pension provider.
2. Align your pay periods
If your pension provider is NEST or Smart and you haven't already done so, you must align your pension group pay reference periods (PRP), to tax periods. To do this, you must log in to your online pension account. For help with this, contact your pension provider.
TIP: Nest have published guidance on this process on their website >

We recommend you back up your data before you set up Pensions Data Exchange.
4. Create a Sage account
