Download and install Sage 50 P11D v30

The latest software update is now available, which you can use to calculate and submit benefits for the 2024/2025 tax year.

Check your version number

Log in to your P11D software and select Help, then About. If your version number:

• Is 30.00.069, your software is already up to date and you don't need to install an update
• Begins with 29, continue to the download and install v30 steps below

Download and install v30

If you haven't already done so, follow the prepare to update Sage 50 P11D article. Then, follow the steps below to install Sage 50 P11D v30.

 NOTE: Follow our separate article if you see the error: 'An error has occurred while running the setup' during installation. 

The steps below take you through how to install your update. This includes how to set whether your v30 data is on your computer or elsewhere, for example on a server.

1. Close Sage 50 P11D and any other Sage software you have open on your computer.
2. Click the link below:
   • Download Sage 50 P11D v30
3. The update downloads to the Downloads folder on your computer automatically.
    NOTE: If you're prompted to select where to save this file, select the Downloads folder then select Save.
4. On your keyboard, press the Windows key and R.
5. Type Downloads then click OK.
6. Right-click Sage50P11D_30069.exe and click Run as Administrator.
7. To confirm you agree to the licence agreement and proceed, click Accept Licence.
8. The installer sets the installation path on your computer for v30 automatically, click Next.
9. You need to set the location of your P11D company data for v30 now:
   • If you store your data on your computer, select Next without making any changes
   • To use a server, create a new folder for your v30 data on the server, then select Browse and browse to it, then select Next
10. Select Next to begin the installation.
