| Create a new P11D database |
Description | By default, your software creates a single database, in which you can create one or more companies ready to process. When you first install Sage 50 P11D and enter your activation details, there are two options: - Create New Data
- Upgrade Existing Data
If you don't have existing data from a prior version to upgrade, you need to create a new P11D database. |
Resolution | Follow the steps below to get started and create your new database. - Open Sage 50 P11D v29.
- Enter your activation details and click Next.
- Select Create New data and click Next.
- The default path for v29 is set automatically, if you need to amend it for example to a server, click Browse and browse to the required location.
- Click Next, then Finish.
Your database is ready to log in to. The default username is Administrator, and there's no password. Click Login to log in. NOTE: We recommend you set up a password for the Administrator username straight away. For help to do this, visit our create and manage user names guide. You're ready to set up your company.
