When you installed Sage 50 P11D v30 after installing Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.26100.234.0, the following error appeared:

'An error (-5011 : 0x80040702) has occurred while running the setup.'

This pack is part of the '2025-08 Cumulative Update Preview for Windows 11 Version 24H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5064081) (26100.5074)'. Microsoft released this on 29 August 2025.

If you've installed this update or any after it, the installation error above occurred.

Sage 50 P11D v31 update

We've changed the v31 installer to prevent this issue.

Once you install v31 the error no longer occurs if you install v30 or prior too, for example to access old data.
