Description

Sometimes errors happen when submitting RTI (Real Time Information) data to HMRC. Use the steps in this guide to resolve these errors.

Before you begin

You may need your login details for the HMRC portal, or call HMRC to make changes on their systems. You may need to check your employee personal details, and update in your Sage Payroll.

Resolution

To find the full error number:

  1. Select the Summary tab.
  2. Find the HMRC Real Time Information (RTI) Scheme section.
  3. Select the Resolve button.
