Online filing: Common validation errors
Summary
When submitting a return using Sage Corporation Tax, the second stage of the submission wizard validates your return to ensure it's suitable to be filed online. This article lists some of the common validations encountered and how to resolve them.
Resolution

| 9106 | The return period To date cannot be later than today unless the type of company is 3 (Company in liquidation which is chargeable at the main rate following the first period after liquidation) |
| 9186, 9198, 9204, 9124 | Box 315 must equal the sum of Boxes 335, 350, 365, 385, 400 and 415 |
| 9242 | Box 73 must not be greater than box 70 |
| 9261, 9277 | Box 570 must equal Box 545 minus Box 525. If the result is negative please enter 0 (zero). or Box 605 must equal (the sum of Boxes 545, 560, 565 and 595) minus Box 525. If the result is negative Box 605 must not be completed.

| 9281, 9283 | Box 650 can only be completed if at least one of the boxes 670, 675 or 680 is greater than 0 (zero). |
| 9288 | The sum of box 690 and 735 must not exceed apportioned AIA limit |
| 9429 | The "Date of repayment, release or write-off" in box A25 must be after the "Period to" date in box 35" |
| 9466 | If the loans to participator rate does not change in the accounting period of the return then box A20 must equal box A15 multiplied by the loans to participator rate for that period. |

| 9504 | The 'To' date of [C5B] should not be before the 'From' date. |

| 9514 | The period covered by [C85B] should not be longer than 12 months. |
| 9515 | The 'To' date of [C85B] should not be before the 'From' date. |
| 9516 | The 'To' date of [C85B] should be on or after [30]. |
| 9635 | Box L168 must be completed if Box L167 is not completed |
