Sage 50 Payrolls include National holiday patterns. When an employee takes a period of holiday that includes a day of national holiday, you won't subtract that from their holiday entitlement. Find out more about National holidays in Sage 50 Payroll.
You can set up two different types of holiday schemes:
Once you've entered your holiday scheme settings you can record your employees' time off.
To carry holidays forward in Sage 50 Payroll, select the Allow Entitlement B/F From Previous Year check box in the holiday scheme settings. Use our article to carry holiday entitlement forward.
You can delete holiday schemes you no longer use. Use our article to delete a holiday scheme.
Once you've set up your holiday scheme, you can then assign the holiday scheme to your employees.
Use the absence diary option to record and delete holidays booked or taken.
When the holiday year ends, you need to advance the year so that your employees receive their full holiday entitlement for the new year. Find out how in our article to set up and advance the holiday and absence years.
TIP: You can help your employees get even more from their holidays, with discounts and more in Sage Employee Benefits. Leave your details to find out more.
