You may need to locate your Sage 50 Accounts data. For example, to move your data to a new location, or perform maintenance on your data.
CAUTION: Before making any changes, take a full backup of your data. If you're unsure, contact your local IT support or Sage.
You'll see a list of all mapped drives.
The UNC path appears in the Remote column and the name of the computer is the first part of the path. For example, \\fileserver\support\Sage 50 Accounts.
TIP: To show the ProgramData folder, you might need to show hidden files and folders. | Sage Accounts v33 or above | C:\ProgramData\Sage\Accounts\Vxx. Where xx is the year of your software. For example, V33. |

A notepad window opens, showing the path to your accounts data. If you've more than one company, the paths show on separate lines.

CAUTION: Stop the Sage 50 Accounts Data and Control Service before renaming and creating any files.
