Resolution
Check you're on the main computer
- Click Help then click About.
- Under Sage Drive information, check the Site value. This will tell you if you're at the main site or a remote site.
Back up your data
- Click File, then click Back up.
- To check your data, click Yes and click OK, then click Close and click Close again.
- Click Browse and browse to where you want to save your backup, then click OK.
- Click OK, then click OK again.
Update the main computer
Download Sage 50 Accounts v26
- To download Sage 50 Accounts v26, click the link below:
- Enter your My Sage login details, click Sign In, then click Download.
- If prompted to save the file, note the file name, then click Save.
Depending on your web browser, the file may automatically save to your Downloads folder. To view your Downloads folder, press Ctrl + J on your keyboard.
If your data is held on another computer, for example a server, you must also download and install the full software, or Sage 50 Accounts v26 - Data Service, on that computer as well.
Install Sage 50 Accounts v26
Convert your data
Once installed, open each company in Sage 50 Accounts v26 to convert your data.
Update all remote computers
On all Sage Drive remote computers, follow the same steps above to download and install your software.
Microsoft 365
You now need to refresh your Microsoft 365 credentials. The credentials are the email address and password of the Microsoft 365 owner. You only need to do this once and on one computer.
