To check your current software version, open Sage 50 Accounts then on the menu bar click Help, then click About. Under Program Details check the Version Number then refer to the relevant section below.
Good news, you don't need to do anything. You're already on the latest version of Sage 50 Accounts.
We recommend you install the Sage 50 Accounts v20 update. To do this you can simply check for updates within your Sage 50 Accounts software:
If others are also accessing your live data at other sites, either using Remote Data Access or via another remote access method, we recommend you communicate with those users to ensure everyone installs the update.
There are some extra things to check before installing the update. Select the relevant option below that applies to you:
If you have Sage 50 Accounts installed on one computer at home and there are no other users who access the same data, we recommend you install Sage 50 Accounts v28.1.
Before you install the update, you should:

CAUTION: If either of the following scenarios apply to you, do not install the update unless you have access to install on all computers that are using Sage 50 Accounts, including your data server.

If you're an accountant who accesses your clients' data using Remote Data Access, do not install the update until your clients are also ready to upgrade. When using Remote Data Access you must be using the same software version as your clients.
