How to disconnect from a Remote Data Access (RDA) company at a remote site when using Sage 50 Accounts v27.

Resolution

Disconnect the company

Follow these steps at the remote site:

  1. Open Sage 50 Accounts.
  2. On the Company Selection window, click the three dots next to the company.

  3. Select Remove Remote Data Access.
    Remove Remote Data Access option selected.
  4. Enter your logon name and password then click OK.
  1. Select Yes, then OK.

Company Selection window doesn't appear

To reinstate it:

  1. Log in to the software as normal.
  2. Go to Tools, Options, then Start up.
  3. Select the Show the Company List on start up checkbox.
  4. Close the software and the Company Selection window appears when you open Sage 50 Accounts again.

Reconnect to RDA

  1. Open Sage 50 Accounts.
  2. If you only have one company, the Active Setup wizard appears.
    Add a Company window with the Download option selected.
  3. If you have multiple companies, select Add Company.
  4. Choose the Download option.
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions to reconnect to the company.
