| Description | When you set up Sage Verify, a prompt asks if you want to allow notifications. With notifications enabled, you authenticate your login using the notification. If you didn't enable push notifications during the setup process, you can use a six-digit code within the Sage Verify app. This involves copying the code from within Sage Verify and entering it on the 2FA login screen. |
| Resolution | Select the relevant option below for your steps to log in: ▼ Using Sage Verify with push notifications - Go to the login page for your Sage product or service.
- Enter your Sage account email address and password.
- The mobile device that you set up Sage Verify on receives a notification asking you to confirm it's you. Either:
- Tap and hold the notification, then tap Yes, it's me to authenticate the quickest way without needing to open the app, or
- Tap the notification to open the app, then tap Yes, it's me to authenticate it
You're now logged in, and can use your Sage service as normal. No push notification received If your push notification didn't arrive when you expected one, either: - Work around this by following the steps in this article to log in with a six-digit code, or
- Follow the push notification not received article to resolve the cause
▼ Using the six-digit code within Sage Verify - Go to the logon page for your Sage product or service.
- Enter your Sage account email address and password.
- Select the Enter verification code instead button.
- Open the Sage Verify app on your mobile device. A list of your accounts appears with a six-digit code against each.
- Enter the six-digit code for your account in the login screen.
- If no-one else uses the device you're using, you can choose to select the Remember me on this device for 30 days option.
- Select Continue to finish logging in.
You're now logged in, and can use your Sage service as normal. |
