Set up Sage Verify

Follow the steps below to remove your existing 2FA device, and set up Sage Verify.

  1. Go to account.sso.sage.com.
  2. Log in using your Sage ID.

    TIP:

    If a prompt asks you to authenticate for 2FA, use your existing authentication method.

  3. Select Protect your account.
  4. Select Remove device to remove your current 2FA method.
  5. Select the Send email button to begin Sage Verify set up.
    • The system sends a welcome email to your Sage ID email address
  6. Search your app store for Sage Verify and install the app on your mobile phone. You can also download Sage Verify using the relevant link below:
  7. In the welcome email, select Finish setting up extra security.
  8. The Authenticate with Sage Verify webpage opens. Select Set up Sage Verify.
  9. A QR code appears. Leave this on your screen and continue to the next step.
  10. Open the Sage Verify app on your mobile phone, then select Scan QR Code.
  11. Scan the QR code.

    NOTE:

    If you can't scan the QR code as it's on your mobile phone, use the Copy Sage Verify setup code option. Paste the code in the Sage Verify app to continue.

  12. When a prompt asks whether to enable notifications, select Allow to enable log in using push notifications.
    • A message appears in Sage Verify confirming that you added your account successfully
  13. Your recovery key appears on the screen. Note this down and keep it safe.
  14. Select I've saved my recovery key, then Continue.

You've completed your move to Sage Verify.

When you next log in and need to authenticate 2FA, use the Sage Verify push notification.
