How to uninstall Sage 50 Accounts
Description

If you want to uninstall your Sage 50 Accounts software, it's quick and easy to do. Let's get started.

NOTE: These steps remove the Sage software but leave behind your accounts data and any files that could be common to other software. If you also want to delete the common files, for example, for troubleshooting purposes, refer to our complete uninstall article.

Uninstall your software

  1. Open Sage 50 Accounts, click Help, then click About.
  2. Make a note of the program directory and software version. If you plan to reinstall, also note your serial number, activation key and account number.
  3. Back up your company data then close Sage 50 Accounts.
  4. Press the Windows key (or click the Start menu button) then click the Settings.
  5. Select Apps.
  6. Select Installed apps.
  7. Scroll through the list of applications and then find the version of Sage 50 Accounts you want to remove.
  8. Click the three-dot icon next to the program, then select Uninstall.
