The Projects module
Description

The Projects module provides the features you need to maintain accurate details about projects. It helps you to track and evaluate the costs incurred too.

Cause
Resolution

With the Projects module, you can enter and monitor all project costs. This ensures you know the exact cost to complete a project and how much to charge customers for profit. Track expenditure to avoid costly overruns and monitor non-profitable or in-house projects.

NOTE: The projects module is only available in Sage 50 Accounts Professional. To upgrade, leave your details and we'll be in touch.

To activate Projects

  1. On the menu bar click Settings, click Company Preferences and if prompted, enter your password.
  2. Click Parameters, click the Enable Project Costing check box then click OK.

Projects appears as one of the modules in the navigation bar.
