The Project record Activity tab
Description

You can use the project record's activity to quickly view all of the transactions associated with the selected project and a summary of the details for each transaction. This is particularly useful for checking data you've already entered and to help locate any discrepancies in your project record values.

Access the Activity

  • On the navigation bar click Projects, browse to and double-click the required project record then click Activity

Show

The period you want to see transactions for. You can also use this drop-down list to apply a custom range to filter by transaction type or a transaction number or date range.

Date

The date range applied to filter the list of transactions. This is based on your selection on the Show drop-down list.

Type

The type of transactions you are searching for. To search for a transaction type, in the Show drop-down click Custom Range, then in Type to Display click the type of transaction you want to display, then click OK.

Trans

The transaction numbers that appear. To filter the transaction numbers that appear, in the Show drop-down click Custom Rangeedit the From and To values as required then click OK.

No

Project transaction number. This is different to the transaction numbers in Transactions.

Audit No

Transaction number. This is taken from the No column in Transactions.

Type

The following transaction types appear:

  • Costing Credit (CC) - Relates to project only cost postings
  • Costing Debit (CD) - Relates to project only cost postings
  • Adjustment In (AI) - Relates to a stock transaction posted to the project
  • Adjustment Out (AO) - Relates to a stock transaction posted to the project
  • Purchase Invoice (PI) - This is a purchase invoice posted to the project
  • Purchase Credit (PC) - This is a purchase credit posted to the project
  • Bank Payment (BP) - This is a bank payment posted to the project
  • Bank Receipt (BR) - This is a bank receipt posted to the project
  • Sales Invoice (SI) - Represents a billing transaction created when you enter and update a sales invoice
  • Sales Credit (SC) - Represents a billing transaction created when you enter and update a sales credit

AC Ref

The account reference of the customer or supplier the transaction relates to.

Date

The date entered for the transaction.

Ref.

The reference you gave the transaction.

Dept

The department reference of the transaction.

Quantity

The quantity of stock if it is a stock transaction.

Cost Code

Cost code on the transaction if it is a cost to the project.

Details

The details or description text that you entered at the time of posting to identify the transaction.

Debit

Value of the transaction, if it is a cost to the project.

Credit

Value of the transaction, if it is income on the project.
