Description | If you're new to Sage 50 Accounts and would like help to create a new project record, the Wizard option takes you through this step-by-step. Let's do this now. |
Resolution | The New Project wizard captures key details about your project to help you create a unique record. - On the navigation bar click Projects, then click Wizard.
- Enter the required information as prompted, clicking Next to move through the wizard.
- At the end of the wizard, to create your new record, click Create.
Click the options below to find out more about the customer details you can enter. Compulsory fields are indicated with an asterisk*. Project NameName* | Enter a name for the project. |

Project Ref* | Check the suggested project reference and amend if needed. |

Description | Enter a description for the project. |

Project DetailsStatus | From the drop-down list, choose the status of the project. There are five predefined for you: ACTIVE, SNAG, COMPLETED, SUSPEND and INITIAL. |

Start date | Enter the start date for the project. |

End date | Enter the end date for the project. |

Customer A/C | If the project links to a customer, choose the customer account from the drop-down list. |

Order Number | If required, enter an order number for the project. |

Site AddressIf required, enter the address details of the site where the project is taking place. Site Contact DetailsIf required, enter contact details for the site where the project is taking place. Analysis DetailsPrice Quoted | Enter the price you quoted for the project. |
