If your My Sage administrator has left and you need access to the online administrator account, follow the steps below.

Resolution

Generic My Sage log in email address used

If the My Sage admin email isn't specific to the leaver, for example [email protected], check if you can access the inbox for it.

Where you can access the inbox, reset the My Sage password, then you can log in and use the account this way.

Contact your IT support if you can't access the mailbox, in case they can give you access. If they can, reset the password.

If you can't access the mailbox or the admin account, skip ahead to the no access to account section.

Change online administrator email

Sometimes you have the admin username and password, but you want to change it to a different email address.

For example, the old admin user left the business and gave you the email and password, but the username is their personal work email.

  1. If you haven't already created the new user to transfer permissions to, create the new user now.
  2. Sign in with the old admin user.
  3. Add the required permissions to the new user.
  4. If required, remove access from the old user.

No access to account

If you haven't got access to the old online admin email and don't know their password, contact us.

Our support advisers will ask some additional security questions to proceed.
