Check your serial and account numbers

You need your serial and account number to activate your software. You can find these on your email or invoice you received with the software.

Create a My Sage login

Before you download your software, you need to create a My Sage login >

If you already have a logon, please continue to the next section, Check your activation key.

Check your activation key

Go to https://my.sage.co.uk, then enter your details and click Sign In.
Click Software, then click Active products.
Click your serial number, then make a note of your activation key.

Check your system requirements and access

Before you install Sage 50 Payroll, you, or your IT support, should check the following:

Your computer meets the recommended system requirements for Sage 50 Payroll >
You can log on to the computer as an administrator Check if you're a Windows administrator >
If you're installing on a network, that you have the right permissions to be able to access your data folder. Share a folder and apply permissions >
