Recreate the Payroll32 DSN data source

The Payroll32 DSN is used to communicate with the database. If this is missing or not accessible, then it can cause issues accessing the data.

To resolve this, you need to set up the Payroll32 DSN.

If the error still occurs, you need to Remove old companies.

Remove old companies

You may have one or more old companies on your Open company menu that you no longer process or use. These companies can cause this error, so you must delete them from your software.

When you delete companies from your software, you can keep their data on your computer. This is useful in case you need to refer to them in the future. To find out more, visit our how do I delete a company guide.
